Introduction
This page provides instructions for users who wish to delete their data from OwlDock, particularly for those who have used Facebook authentication to access our services.
Data Deletion Process
To request the deletion of your data from OwlDock, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to admin@OwlDock with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
- Include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Facebook account email (if different from your OwlDock account)
- Confirmation that you want to delete all your data
- Our team will process your request within 30 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon your request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:
- Account information and profile data
- Authentication data (including Facebook authentication tokens)
- User-generated content
- Analytics and usage data
- Communication preferences and settings
Facebook-Specific Data
For users who have authenticated through Facebook, we will:
- Remove all Facebook authentication tokens
- Delete any Facebook profile data we have stored
- Revoke Facebook app permissions
- Remove any Facebook-related preferences or settings
Data Retention
Please note that some data may be retained for legal or administrative purposes as required by law. This includes:
- Transaction records (for accounting purposes)
- Legal compliance data
- Backup copies (which are automatically deleted after 90 days)
Additional Facebook Steps
To completely remove your data from Facebook's perspective, you should also:
- Visit your Facebook Account Settings
- Go to "Apps and Websites"
- Find OwlDock in the list of apps
- Click "Remove" to revoke access
